A world-leading leading flood and climate risk firm, Fathom has come a long way from its humble beginnings in 2012, here bean bags were office chairs and baked beans were the meal of choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. 

Fathom was officially formed in 2013 as a spin-out from the University of Bristol. In 2023, Fathom became part of Swiss Re; one of the world's leading providers of reinsurance, insurance and risk transfer. From the beginning, the focus has been on creating a data-driven, research-led organisation, providing transparent, world-leading methods of understanding water risk. 

We are continuing to grow, and are looking for inspired, passionate and friendly individuals to come and join our team.
